The distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee produces over 16 million barrels of whiskey a year and rye has always been a fixture in its mashbills. What we have here is a rye-forward whiskey, however, one thats the result of the first new grain recipe in 150 years, made with 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. What's more, this rye is drawn from single barrels.
