3cl / 50.10% - This is the first batch of single malt Scotch whisky from the Tullibardine distillery bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. As with their other release, this comes with an excellent illustration on the label depicting lore and in-jokes from the whisky world. History buffs might recognise the chap at the head of the table on this one - it's King James IV. On the way to his coronation (at Scone), James IV allegedly bought some ale from brewers on the site where the Tullibardine distillery stands today. However, he seems to think distilling the ale would make it better. Reckon he might be on to something with that idea...Tullibardine Batch 1 is a release of 159 bottles.That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
