Auchroisk 23 Year Old 1990 - Single Cask (Master of Malt) Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 44.00% - A relatively young distillery, Auchroisk was founded in 1972 and briefly produced whiskies under the name The Singleton. Mainly used in blends, Auchroisk is rarely seen bottled as a Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This single cask was distilled in 1990 and aged for 22 years in a sherry hogshead (that was a bit leaky), the result was just 99 absolutely cracking bottles. Meaty and bold, this is a rare treat indeed.
