EDF Energy is an electricity and gas supplier company for your home and business. It offers smart solutions and can prove that it has produced low-carbon renewable electricity in an amount equivalent to the consumption. What is "low-carbon" electricity? The term refers to electricity produced solely from renewable energy sources such as hydro, wind, solar, geothermal, wave and tidal energy or biomass energy (wood landfill gas, sewage treatment plants, and biogas). To prove the origin of electricity produced from renewable sources, we guarantee of origin and have certification value. The company ensures the delivery, the transfer and the use of Guarantees of Origin. The additional cost of smart-saving energy cannot be compared to standard bids. It allows us to contribute to the development of renewable electricity and gas production. To save more, click for discount codes.

EDF Energy's subsidiary dedicated to renewable energies has just acquired 67% of an Aix-based SME specializing in onshore wind energy. EDF Energy is an entity of the electricity utility dedicated to renewable energies (mainly solar and wind) that has just finalized the buyout of the majority of the shares of the Aix wind farm operator, Futuren. In accordance with the agreement reached early between the two parties, EDF has acquired 67.2% of the capital of Futuren for approximately 320 million Euros. The "green" branch of the world's largest electricity producer also specifies that it will shortly file a simplified takeover bid proposal for the rest of the capital. Promo codes are applicable.
As indicated by the two companies, this takeover results in the entry on the Futuren Board of Directors of three representatives of EDF Energy. The current managing director of the company retains his functions. The company owns about 700 wind turbines. It operates on behalf of 374 megawatts (MW) and manages 372 MW for third parties. The group also holds a portfolio of 188 MW authorized projects.
EDF Energy suppliers offer "smart" and "standard" electricity and gas consumption plants. The distribution of the electricity generation sources has marketed, in particular, the share of renewable electricity. It is physically impossible to determine the source of the electricity delivered to a given customer. Indeed, it is the low-carbon electricity that is delivered to all customers connected to the electricity grid, regardless of the supplier and the type of offer.
The electricity consumed in every part of the European network, therefore, contains the same percentage of low-carbon electricity. Renewable power generation is generally more expensive than "standard" electricity generation. This extra cost is very variable because it depends on the production facility. It is quite high for production facilities such as photovoltaic panels or wind turbines, but it is very low or even zero, for old hydraulic installations (large dams). Get voucher codes online.
Over the next 15 years, EDF Energy will create "sustainable activities". The transformation will be far from easy. But the players who adopt new digital business models will have the means to cope with new competitors, who are not yet critical. They will also be able to meet the growing demands of regulators, the financial community, and customers, who are calling for further reductions in carbon emissions. Our volume strategy is to give way to a policy based on energy efficiency and services to generate value over the long term. We capitalize on the potential of new technologies and the rapid deployment of innovative services to significantly increase customer value. Click for promo codes.
