We work with sources directly and have unparalleled expertise in the selection and manufacture of cashmere. It all starts with the soft, silky wool of the Capra Hisca goat. During the particularly harsh winters, goats develop a thick fleece woolly to protect themselves from the cold (a temperature of -40 C).

At the end of winter, goats molt naturally and lose down. That's when they are combed to collect 80% of the hair and turn it into wool composed of fine and long threads that have exceptional isothermal qualities. The air stuck between the tiny spaces of the fibers forms a natural barrier that preserves the animal's body heat and prevents the cold from reaching its skin. This precious gift of nature allows the goat to survive in an environment that is particularly hostile.

Cashmere is a noble and rare material because it can only be produced by Capra Hisca goats and only in areas suitable for their breeding. Moreover, the wool of a goat is scarcely enough to make a scarf; it usually takes five goats to produce a single sweater.
